Considering working a ski season?


It's not hard to have a great time out in the Alps, but choosing the right company will make a huge difference to your season. Alpine Action is proud of their reputation for looking after our guests as well as all our staff.  Alpine Action is a privately owned and company which has been providing catered chalet holidays in Meribel & La Tania for 26 years and our resort management team have been with Alpine Action for 18 years. 

Why work for us? 
The company was originally started in 1993 because of a passion for skiing and is still run day to day by those same people.
We're a friendly, privately owned company with over 26 years of experience in the Alps. Our staff are crucial to our success. We train you comprehensively and support you throughout the ski season. You'll have the chance to ski almost every day for 5 months, as well as take part in various resort activities and social events.

Alpine Action look for enthusiastic, sporty, dedicated individuals with a sense of humour to join us. You will also be able to ski five days a week for five months on some of the best slopes in the world. You don't have to be a good skier or boarder, but you have to love the sport enough to contemplate a season working and skiing in the Alps. The work is hard, with early starts and late nights, toilets to clean and potatoes to peel, shopping and cooking, talking to guests and answering all their questions and never losing your sense of humour or your smile, even when you're tired. 
If you're looking to just ski and party for the season and do the minimum needed to get by, then please take a look at a much larger company, as you we will not be for you. On the other hand, if you want to get job satisfaction, meet some fantastic people and get on the mountain as much as possible. 
Then working for Alpine Action is for you. We will provide a great team to work with, excellent staff accommodation and plenty of free time on the mountain.

You're important to us.
Our resort staff are very important to us, we know that they represent the company and play a vital role in ensuring that all our clients enjoy their holiday and the Alpine Action experience. Alpine Action value all staff and this is reflected in the standard of your accommodation, your package, the support and general management.  We also take care to respect the chalet staffs day off. The day off is a precious time and we recognise its importance to morale and a happy energetic resort team. There are many rewards and benefits working for a small independent company though. Please note that we can only accept applications from EU Passport holders, resident in the UK and those with a UK National Insurance number.

Salary & Benefits

  • A Competitive salary paid monthly into your U.K. bank account

  • Uniform/ appropriate company clothing
  • 2 days off a week plus plenty of free skiing time with the exception of Sundays (transfer day) and shopping mornings.

  • Approximately 8/9 days holiday pay, paid at end of contract.
