A GLIMPSE INTO A DAY AS AN HOTEL ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Here's a preview of what your responsibilities will entail:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your daily tasks will include:

Managing monthly management accounts
Creating financial reports and producing owner's reports
Preparation of cash flow statements and forecasts
Balance sheet reconciliation
Managing company accounting and procurement systems
Handling some HR and legal matters
Performing weekly tasks such as income audit and debtors

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

While we primarily hire based on personality and potential, there are a few key requirements for the role of Assistant Financial Controller:

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience at the Assistant Financial Controller level in a hospitality background.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Financial Controller and head office, playing a significant role in P&L review.
To thrive in this position, you should have a passion for Finance, a knack for streamlining processes, and the ability to build key relationships with the hotel's management team.
