Executive summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an AV concierge to join our IT team in London. The role will be primarily be focussed around ensuring Taylor Wessing employees and clients receive the best possible experience when using meeting rooms and our meeting room technology.

Key responsibilities include:

* Act as the 'front of house' main point of contact for Taylor Wessing people and clients when they are using our meeting room technologies.

* Provide people with guidance and best practise in the use of meeting room technologies.

* To be comfortable dealing with people at all levels.

* Perform regular checks to ensure meeting rooms and AV equipment are fully operational, and address any issues directly, or by liaising with internal technicians and Third party support partners.

* Dealing with urgent and high pressure situations in a calm, professional yet responsive manner.

* Collect feedback following meetings and ensure this information is used to drive continual improvement.

* To assist with issues by providing basic support and troubleshooting.

* Escalating technical or complex issues to our AV technicians.

* Assist in the setup of live, hybrid and virtual events.

* To be organised, creative and positive in your approach.

* Focus on the customer, ensuring your support and interactions are of the highest quality.

* To build a strong relationship with our third party support partner to ensure the fast resolution of any equipment issues.

* Develop a strong relationship with key stakeholders, including representatives from facilities teams, to ensure good communication.

Knowledge, skills and experience

* Highly professional approach

* Self motivated, inquisitive and methodical

* Good problem solving skills and the ability to communicate issues to technical colleagues

* Customer focused, with excellent communication skills

* Calm and capable of working under pressure

* Working in a customer facing role (essential)

* Previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a professional services environment (desirable)

* A good working knowledge of Microsoft teams and other conferencing platforms

* Ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks
