Recruiting for an Duty Manager for privately owned luxury apartments in the centre of York only 5 minutes from the train station. I am looking for a candidate with previous supervisory experience from within a hotel or serviced apartment sector and someone who takes extreme pride in the work they do. The successful candidate will benefit from a salary of up to £12.50 per hour working up to 40hrs per week. You will benefit from a continuous shift pattern, staff uniform and standard 30 days holiday with time off over Christmas and for your birthday!

Looking after Reception & Guest Services
Responsible for the efficient running of evening tasks and the management of a small team along with processing bookings
Providing excellent customer service and be aware of VIP Guests staying or checking in
Full knowledge of the apartments to be able to answer queries
Covering team days off and holidays
Maintain clean rooms to a high standard
Replenish linen and guest supplies
Provide an excellent customer service
Reporting into to the General Manager raising any concerns regarding the rooms and maintenance
Adherence to safe systems of work, PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments and Manuel HandlingRequirements:

Experienced as a Receptionist or Team Leader in a hotel environment
Experience overseeing a small team
Minimum of 2 years working within a hotel or similar environment in a Junior Management role
Be a positive role model for your team
Understanding of booking systems like Rez LynxBenefit - You will benefit from a pay rate of up to £12 per hour working between 35-40hrs per week on an evening. Alongside the pay rate you will benefit from discounted rates at the onsite café, discounted room rates for yourself, friends & family and free onsite parking. You will also benefit from a staff uniform and Christmas Day & Boxing Day off every year along with your birthday and 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays.
