Assistant Head Housekeeper required for a hotel in the Guildford area.

As Assistant Head Housekeeper candidates require a hands on housekeeping background from within a hotel or similar type property.

The role as Assistant Head Housekeeper will require you to support and assist the Head Housekeeper, to manage areas within the housekeeping department including: monitoring of rota scheduling, control of housekeeping supplies and linen and quality to ensure your department runs smoothly.

As Assistant Head Housekeeper, you will be covering the Head Housekeeper on their days off. You will check rooms and assist with the training, motivating and developing the housekeeping team to ensure standards are maintained and exceeded with the presentation and cleanliness of public areas and guest bedrooms.

This role is offered on a full time basis working 5 days over 7 to include week-ends and you will need to be hands on assisting to get rooms back for hire.

The salary for the vacancy of Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeper is given as £12.32 / per hour / 45 hour week including holiday (£26,6211 / per annum). Overtime is paid above 45 hours a week. Assistance to source local accommodation should you wish to relocate to the area.
