The Hotel

This fabulous country house hotel is looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to work closely with the Senior Management Team to further establish the hotel in the luxury hotel market. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious hotel management professional who has existing experience within the deluxe country house sector.

The Job

As Front Office Manager you will report to the General Manager and have responsibility for a team of front office staff covering both day and night shifts. The position of Front Office Manager is a 'hands-on', guest focus role with responsibility for driving service standards whilst leading and motivating the front of house team in their personal development to achieve consistently high levels of guest care and attention to detail. Additionally as Front Office Manager you will ensure your team are sales aware and lead by example to identify potential sales leads and 'up-sell' when opportunity arises. Additionally as Front Office Manager you will ensure excellent communication lines are maintained with all other departments and in particular Revenue, Sales, Housekeeping and Maintenance.

The Person

With previous management experience, you may be an Assistant Front Office Manager or Reception Manager looking for your first Front Office Manager's role or alternatively an existing Front Office Manager looking for a role where you can use your individual flair for guest care. For success in becoming Front Office Manager you will have excellent personal appearance standards together with exceptional customer & communication skills. Additionally as Front Office Manager you should be confident in motivating your team to achieve the high standards expected by the hotel as well as showing your own initiative whilst displaying the highest standards of guest care at all times. As Front Office Manager you will be dedicated and friendly, customer focused, sales aware and financially astute.
