Description

We are looking for someone to head up and grow our sales and marketing department. 

An exciting role in a growing business, following a further expansion for this season and plans for further growth next year.

We are a busy hotel and chalet business based in Tignes les Brevieres, Espace Killy, French Alps. We are looking for an immediate start working in resort in France. 

We have been operating for over 20 years and our very proud of our strong reputation for holding some of the top spots on the major reviews sites in our area (we are number # 1 on Tripadvisor in many categories that we are listed in).

This is an all year round role and we would be looking for at least a 1 year minimum commitment from the applicant, preferably longer. 

This role can offer the right applicant a great work-life balance if you are looking to get out of the rat race - great hiking, biking and activities in the Summer and a world class ski resort in the Winter! 

This is definitely a lifestyle role and the starting wages are not on par with a similar job in the UK but would appeal to someone who wants to live in a sporty environment with world class skiing in the winter.  We have a really nice group of sporty, fun staff here year round, it's a beautiful place to live. 
Previous experience in sales and marketing is highly desirable. 

We have been operating fun, friendly and relaxed Chalets for over 20 years and we genuinely want our staff to have a great fun season working with us.

Our Package includes:

· Full Espace Killy Lift Pass (covering over 300 km of runs with x 2 snow parks!)

Requirements

The right applicant must be sales driven/focused and used to working to targets and must be good at coming up with new and exciting ways to market our business.

Would consider a professional person (such as a lawyer/ working in finance/ etc) who may have worked in a very different field looking to take a career break and get out the rat race and looking for a new and fun challenge and a seasonal experience, they must be used to working in a fast paced environment and to targets/ KPI's. 

This is a fast paced role and requires an applicant who is organised and reacts well under pressure. They will form part of our 6 person management team in resort running the operational business and must lead by example - they must a be great time keeper, be reliable, dependable, motivated and hard working. We are a British owed business; all our staff and most of our guests are English speaking. 

We are a team of approximately 60 and it’s a fun, friendly place of work. This jobs works on a mixed rota with some split shifts (am and pm shifts) allowing plenty of time for skiing/biking/hiking during the day. 

We pride ourselves on our unique, friendly relaxed atmosphere our staff creates for our guests. To maintain this standard, all our staff must be flexible and have a ‘can do’ work approach with an easygoing nature as well as being able to work well under pressure.
