Audley Group have 19 retirement villages throughout the UK and we are now in a position where we are recruiting for an experienced Hotel Manager to take on the role of General Manager at our established village in Ilkley where Audley Clevedon which has been operating for nearly 10 years! Audley is a very unique set up and at our Clevedon site we will have a total 90 properties and this is a mixture of both apartments and stand alone cottages.

Operational Responsibilities;

* Day to day you will manage a small team of up to 25 people, your role will be to supervise and manage the service operation within the village

* Achieve financial targets as per the annual budget

* Control village expenditure, stock rotation and profitability

* Supervise management development, rosters and the overall welfare of our village team

* Work to ensure our owners and customers receive outstanding ,personalised service

* Work to ensure the team adhere to legislative requirements such as COSHH, Fire Safety, Food Safety, Health and Safety and the safeguarding of our owners

Qualification and Experience

* Operations, Food and Beverage or Leisure Club Management experience in a 4* or higher hospitality environment

* Experience of managing a small to medium team of people

* Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis

* Committed to delivering customer service excellence

* Self motivated and drive by standards and sales

What’s the package?

* Base salary - Competitive

* Bonus is based upon over-achieving on deliverable targets and you can earn up to 25% of you annual salary

* Holiday allowance: 33 Days (There is no entitlement to Bank Holiday Leave)

This role will involve a handover period with our current General Manager also so there will be a lot of support and guidance for the successful Manager who join the organisation
