Description

Our client, a luxury award winning hotelier, with multiple sites in the lake district is looking for a Hotel Manager to join their team in Millbeck, Keswick. If you would like to play a part in making a difference to their customers and the local community, whilst leading the team and running an outstanding business, this could be your next step in your career. On offer is a salary of £35,000-£40,000, a generous annual bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave, staff discounts on all hotels and restaurants and a great company pension.

As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for

* The day-to-day management of their 13-bedroom hotel operations and its people

* Full commercial accountability for financial management, planning, and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house, food and beverage operations, and housekeeping

* Maximising profits, whilst paying attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and exceed expectations

* Managing and controlling expenditure

* Setting and achieving sales and profit targets

* Analysing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies

* Recruiting, training and monitoring staff

* Panning work schedules for individuals and teams

* Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings; and dealing with contractors and suppliers

* Ensuring security is effective

* Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.

Essential skills/ requirements

* At least 3 years expereaince working as a Hotel Manager

* Impeccable attention to detail

* Strong organisational & leadership skills
