Receptionist and Sales Events Help Required - Hotel - Lake District

We're looking for a friendly and professional receptionist to join our clients Reception team.

You'll have a real passion for pleasing people and an attitude that says 'I'm here to help'. Bringing your receptionist experience and passion for hospitality, you'll be ready and waiting to go the extra mile for their guests. As well as reception duties you would be helping our Event and Function team with show rounds/event organising and assisting that team with any requirements.

The Role

•Ensure all guests are welcomed to the hotel, with a warm smile and a high level of customer service.
•Check guests in and out, ensuring they have everything they need and that they enjoy their stay.
•Answer the telephone and direct calls appropriately.
•Action any feedback received from guests.
•Cashiering and using our internal booking system.
•Conducting show rounds of the resort with any guests that wish to take a look around.

The Ideal Candidate

•Experience using Opera or a similar Front Office system experience is essential
•Experience in a guest facing role, preferably hotel based
•A friendly and approachable manner
•High levels of passion and professionalism
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Experience of providing high levels of customer service
