Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist at a 3 star hotel in Earlswood. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who has previous hotel experience. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and determined individual to join our clients team.

As the first point of contact for guests you should be able to perform all following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet customers promptly in a courteous and friendly manner at all times
• Control the front desk accommodation system
• Ensure the correct procedure for both checking in and checking out of the customer is followed
• Ensure that the customers are attended to quickly and efficiently
• Take and process bedroom reservations as per hotel standard
• Take restaurant reservations and arrange pre-orders when required
• Ensure that all telephone calls and written correspondence are handled promptly and accurately
• Take orders from customers when appropriate
• Operate the bar as set out to the company standard
• Up sell hotel and services as required
• Complete Handover Diary at the end of each shift to maintain and ensure clear communication
• To undertake administration tasks as required
• Work to deadlines and enjoy a fast paced and creative environment
• Assist the Sales team by meeting potential clients, show-casing hotel services
• A passion for customer service with a great personality to share their passion for the hospitality industry in delivering service with a smile
• Can do attitude, flexible to sudden changes with exceptional organisational skills
• Enjoy working and interacting with people, face to face, over the phone and e-mail.
• Excellent at multitasking and have very high standards of work.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft office, including excel, word and outlook.
• Excellent telephone manner and excellent communicator.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Excellent team player.
• Be very reliable and trustworthy.
• Providing responsive and flexible support to other initiatives related to the business as they emerge.
