Hotel Services Team Leader (Housekeeping and F&B) - Nights - Private Hospital in Central London - £25k + benefits
A top private Hospital is looking for a new member of its hotel services team. You will be overseeing the housekeeping and F&B staff and services in this top private hospital. The hospital has high-profile clients/patients/visitors, and has outstanding services and faciltiites to a 5* standard. The Hotel Services Team Leader / Supervisor will monitor & maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the Hospital and residences, maintain the standards of hygiene and Infection Control, supervise of all Housekeeping Staff & Food Service Stewards, Residencies, Waste Management, Pest Control and Laundry services (External contract), Stock Control.
SALARY ETC:
* £25,000 + excellent benefits
* Permanent, full-time
* Central London
* Hours of work: 37.5 per week , Monday - Sunday, working various nights on a rota basis (rotational hours to be confirmed likely (phone number removed)am)
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
* To carry out with the induction and appropriate training of new members of Staff into the Hotel Services Department.
* To provide effective on job training and corrective coaching as appropriate and to evaluate the effectiveness of this training.
* To ensure that the re-training of all staff is carried out in a timely fashion, through the use of the staff training log books.
* To ensure that all Housekeeping staff and Food Service Stewards attend all mandatory training as directed by Human Recourses.
* To ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are used and maintained correctly, and to ensure cleaning schedules are efficiently carried out in a cost-effective way.
* To ensure that all hot meal trolleys, equipment, machines and materials within the department are maintained, checked and kept in good working order and report all relevant faults.
* To assist in amending staff rotas, ensure the necessary numbers of staff are required to meet the demands of the Hospital and to check if staffs are allocated correctly to the various areas.
* Cover functions, parties, dinners when required in conjunction with the HK & CAT Services Managers instructions.
* To ensure that the provisions of linen /uniforms are maintained in all hospital areas in accordance with correct procedures and administration.
* To carry out regular linen/ uniform checks and liaise with nominated laundry suppliers to reform the issues.
* To prepare VIP rooms and comply with VIP needs and requests.
* To undertake regular stock count within Housekeeping & Catering Departments.
* Undertake regular visits to Patients and proactively deal with any concerns or assistance required by the Patient.
REQUIREMENTS:
* To have experience in a similar role as a Supervisor / Team Leader in a Hospital / Hotel, or similar
* Experience of F&B and Housekeeping
* Good administrative skills and computer skills
* Excellent team leader skills, ability to communicate with various people, as well as motivate and train
* A friendly, professional and reliable disposition.
* You must be vaccinated again Covid (at least 2-vaccinations)
