Hotel Software Customer Support Agent (Would Suit Hotel Staff Looking
for a Career Change)
Bristol BS16
£22,000 - £24,000 + Private healthcare after 12 months, Nuffield
Health gym membership contribution, Holiday: 25 days plus bank
holidays per year

++ Do you have customer experience of supporting users with a software
suite preferably "Hotel Executive" by Avon Data Systems? Perhaps you
already work with hotel property management software in a Receptionist
/ Front of House / Manager capacity and want to use your skills in a
new field? We are not looking for techies as full training will be
provided ++

We provide technology solutions to the hospitality industry. We are a
Bristol-based software company that has specialised in Property
Management and Point-of-Sale systems for 30 years.

We currently have openings for two Customer Support Agents with a
hotel background to join our team. If you love the hotel industry but
not the hours that go with it, this could be an excellent opportunity
to embark upon a new career. Ideal candidates would come from a front
of house manager, revenue manager or assistant manager position.

Your core duties will be:

+ Taking first line support – logging tickets, assisting the customer
where possible
+ Channel management integrations
+ Build of booking engines
+ Hotel Executive PMS software configuration
+ Banquet EPOS configuration
+ Online training
+ Paticipation in the out of hours support rota from home

You should display the following skills and characteristics:

+ Experience with using the Hotel Executive PMS by Avon Data Systems
or other PMS
+ Experience with a channel manager preferably Staah and / or
SiteMinder
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ A positive and vibrant outlook
+ Friendly and approachable manner
+ Good team player

You may have worked in the following capacities:

Hotel Receptionist, Front of House Manager, Hotel Revenue Manager,
Software Support, Customer Support, Service Desk, Help Desk Support,
Customer Support Advisor, Customer Success Advisor, Hotel Software
Support Advisor.
