Description

Looking to run your own kitchen whilst working for a small, fun and professional brand? TG Ski are currently recruiting for talented professional chefs in their "Summit Collection" chalets in Morzine and Meribel, France this winter.
 
We are looking for bright, independent, hardworking and flexible chefs to cook a modern international menu six nights a week. Our premium chalets require our staff to deliver a 5 star service to compliment them.You will be required to cook to a high standard of cuisine including: breakfast, canapés and 3-course evening meal.
 
Responsibilities will include designing a high class 6-day, 3-course evening menu, with canapés.  You will have full autonomy to design and implement your menu and you can change it as often or as little as you like. This role requires chefs with restaurant or fine dining experience who are passionate about flavour and food presentation. You will be given a generous budget to work with in order to cater for all ages and dietary requirements.The role will see you team up with a chalet host and driver to oversee the running of the chalet for 10-12 guests.
 
We hugely value our staff and recognise the need to balance your work time with plenty of time "up the hill". You can expect to ski 5-6 days each week and we offer a competitive salary. You will work closely with a host who will support you with food preparation and also food and drink service, chalet cleanliness and guest liaison. Collectively you will work together to ensure that the guests experience the highest standards and have a truly memorable holiday. 
 
Our package includes:

Requirements

  • Experience in the catering industry, ideally you’ll hold a recognised catering qualification OR have built up extensive work experience in kitchens
  • You must have a passion for great tasting, beautifully presented food
  • Flexible attitude to respond to different dietary requirements
  • Strong team working ethic to ensure that high standards are maintained across all areas of the chalet
  • Couples are considered as chalet host and driver positions are available too
  • You must also have a valid work permit if you are from outside the EU with a National insurance and UK bank account
