The candidate who is successful will have the opportunity to work within an absolutely stunning location nestled in the beautiful Berkshire Country Side. To be considered for the position, you must have previous experience in a similar role working within a quality establishment.

My client is a luxury 5 star hotel, who believes providing excellent customer service at all times is essential! As reception is the first experience guests receive on entering the hotel, it all begins with a genuine welcome and smile. Due to their continued success and growth a fantastic opportunity for a customer focused Receptionist has become available; and my client are seeking an exceptional individual to be an integral part of their team.

Role Summary
Working on Reception, you will provide and exceptional guest experience, by anticipating guests’ needs in an intuitive manner and ensuring a seamless service is delivered from arrival through to departure.
Working a shift pattern, 5 days out of 7, 07.00-15.30, 15.00-23.30 or 10.00-18.00 on a rota basis.Key objectives

- Welcome all guests in a polite and friendly manner to ensure guests are immediately made to feel at home.
- Perform a seamless check in and rooming according to the hotels standards.
- Perform a seamless check out according to the hotels standards.
- Exceeding guests’ expectations by providing a discreet and personalised service.
- You will be intuitive to guests needs, always offering an alternative if the first outcome can not be achieved.
- Provide detailed knowledge of the area, promote hotel services and endeavour to make the guests’ stay as memorable as possible.
- Liaise with guests prior to arrival to gather poignant information to make their stay more comfortable.
- Ensure that guest requests for transportation within the estate are delivered in a timely fashion.
- Develop a close working relationship with all departments and managers to ensure guest expectations are met.
- Comply with all statutory and company health and safety, fire, bomb and security regulations


- You will have reception experience within a quality hotel property.
- Hospitality diploma /degree
- Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS
- Excellent IT Knowledge including Microsoft Office.
- English Country House
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
