Our client runs one of Europe's leading and most exclusive 5* Red Resorts and are currently looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to join their team.

Overall Purpose:

Ensuring that sales budgets for corporate accommodation, MICE and Golf are achieved and exceeded whilst supporting the Events Team.

Specific Duties:

* Meeting objectives set through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance

* Own and account manage all local corporate clients including proposing the annual corporate rate structure, review of rate agreements, targeting new clients, growing existing accounts and account managing all clients

* Annual review of the Corporate rates in order to maximize ADR and overall revenue whilst growing market share

* Research, own and account manage all Corporate clients, Consortia Agents, BTA’s, MICE clients and Agents within your agreed territory to maximize enquiries and bookings

* Research and target organizations and companies within your territory for potential business for the company including new clients (as above) Location Filming, Studio’s, Clubs and Associations. Refer to Sales Plan and act on additional leads

* All activity will be reported on the Weekly Sales Report and logged within Opera

* All Accounts and clients with potential must have a future activity in Opera

* Propose and represent our client at Shows and Exhibitions as well as client events on and off site as the business requires. Report and follow up advising of all potential and confirmed business resulting

* Make recommendations for Marketing activity, Shows, Exhibitions and Memberships

* Work with the London and Regional Sales Manager to deliver Sales activities, share leads and best practice

* Deliver a target of £125k in new golf and MICE business per financial quarter

* This target is in addition to assisting the closure of business through the Events team

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years sales management experience within a similar post within a 4 or 5* facility. You must be confident, engaging and a team player
