Multi-Rosette level Sous Chef | Famous Somerset Independent Hotel

A marquee 4* Hotel in central Somerset is looking for their next Sous Chef to join their competitive brigade.

You’ll need to be a passionate, creative team player and used to high pressure environments where your strength of character and experience will come to the fore: a knowledge of multi-rosette standard cooking is a must.

You’ll report directly to the Head Chef and Executive Chef, and take the lead deputising for them managing a high level a la carte menu and leading by example throughout a busy event season.

You’ll have the chance to work closely with the Head Chef developing seasonal menu’s throughout the year and be part of a team looking to achieve a Michelin star – your standards must match that of the team and you’ll be looking to constantly improve and impress upon a rigorous and exacting clientele.

You’ll be paid £25,000 as a starting salary, with a tip and variable bonus structure introduced for the right candidate. This is a full time, permanent role where you will be working varied shifts, 5 days out of 7.
