Description

Leading by example, you will assist the Head Chef in maintaining a professional, efficient, safe and enjoyable kitchen environment. You will motivate the team to provide a consistently high standard of buffet meal service. 
 
You will need proven experience in all areas of food style, design and HACCP. Working to strict budgets and sales targets, you will be results orientated and ensure high standards of professionalism. As Sous Chef you will deputise for the Head Chef in their absence and be involved in the training and continual development of the kitchen team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you would ideally have been in this level of position before in a large hotel or are looking to take the next step in your career development. Able to work well under pressure you’ll take pride in working as part of a team to deliver fine food to Neilson guests.
 
You should also have a professional qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a professional kitchen.
