Overview
Our client sells multi-operator mobile in-building coverage as a service to enterprise verticals and building owners in the UK. This service is delivered using advanced Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Small Cell technology and includes full mobile operator connectivity for all four mobile network operators. They currently have offices in central London, and their client base is national.
About the Role
The New Business Sales Manager is responsible for creating opportunities, closing sales and managing the day to day running of customer and partner accounts to maximise sales in the hotel and hospitality market
sector.
The main focus of the role is to build and execute on a scalable go to market plan with key influencers in the hotel franchises and asset owners to close business, increase market share and monthly recurring revenues for the company. This role and responsibilities will expand and the post-holder will be expected to adapt and develop accordingly as this business unit grows.
Key responsibilities
Develop the company’s business and revenue generating opportunities focusing on the hotel and hospitality sectors – both franchises and asset (building) owners.
Engage with customers and appropriate hospitality partners in order to bid for and secure contracts.
Understanding how to unlock budget within customers organisations and secure long term recurring revenue generating contracts
Secure new business from established hotels (i.e. operating now) and work on new build sites to build mobile coverage in ahead of the hotel opening
Support the VP Sales in relation to general sales activities, establishing processes, putting in place and adhering to general sales methodologies.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Marketing Manager, to progress sales generating activities and marketing material and initiatives
Work closely with the broader Sales and Operations teams providing sales forecasts, understanding and collaborating with them in relation to technical requirements, etc
Carry out general account management activities to ensure that new customers on-board effectively and client relationships and accountabilities are maintained
Knowledge and experience
?
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales with a track record of selling to the hotel and hospitality sectors
Knowledge of 2G, 3G and 4G mobile network technology beneficial
Experienced in selling managed services covering the end-to-end service sales cycle and closing deals
Experience with CRM tools and forecasting systems
Flexible approach, able to work to deadlines and do what is necessary to keep sales on target and close the deal
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Good customer and stakeholder management. Able to identify, engage and secure individual site and framework customer contracts
Hard working, keen and enthusiastic
