HEAD CHEF REQUIRED - RECENTLY REFURBISHED - PREMIUM PUB WITH 12 GUEST ROOMS - GREAT NEW FOREST LOCATION - UP TO £40,000 BASIC + UNCAPPED BONUS

We are working with a growing pub group, with a premium offering and an excellent reputation who are looking to recruit a new Head Chef for one of their venues.

THE ROLE

As Head Chef, we are looking for someone who has gained experience managing a kitchen, ideally from a fresh food pub or restaurant environment.

As Head Chef you will take responsibility for the day to day management of the kitchen and lead your brigade, duties include (but not limited to):

·Recruiting, training and managing your brigade, ensuring that they can deliver consistent standards in a timely manner
·Manage a team of circa 8 chefs, delivering approximately £30,000 food deliver across circa 300 covers across the business
·Deliver consistent food quality across breakfast, lunch and evening service
·Plan and budget staffing requirements, ensuring adequate cover is provided for the kitchen
·Meet all legal and company requirements regarding compliance of kitchen regulations
·Plan menus, ensuring all cost calculations are taken into consideration
·Form part of the on-site management team, working closely with the General Manager to maintain good relationships across the business

IN RETURN FOR YOUR HARD WORK

We are looking for someone who can take control of the kitchen, ideally suited to someone who comes from a similar environment, whilst all applications are considered, it would be beneficial if you:

·Gained experience within a pub / restaurant environment
·Managed a medium sized brigade of 6 to 12 chefs
·Have gained experience across all sections of the kitchen
·Have good communication skills, both verbal and written

The is a Live-out position, the company offer parking on site but due to the location you will need to drive and have access to a vehicle.
