£9.00 per hour

Part-time, with option to increase hours in other areas of hotel if desired

Who are we?

We are The Potters Heron. A beautiful chocolate box thatched 53-bedroom hotel on the edge of the new forest. Our guests range from business travellers to families off to Peppa Pig world and everything in between. We have a lovely restaurant and have the pleasure of hosting many weddings, parties and business events throughout the year.

Job Type: Part-time (there is an option to increase hours if you have skills relevant to other areas of the business such as Restaurant & Bar or Kitchen Porter)

Working times usually between 09:00 – 15:00 for bedrooms and 06:00 – 09:00 for front of house cleaning. You will normally be working 5 days out of 7, but we are open to discussing alternative/flexible shift patterns and times within the above

For you it’s all about getting it right for the customer and your team, you pay attention when you are learning something new and ask questions when you are not sure. Neat corners and banishing dust are your thing and you love it!

What’s Essential?

* We are lucky enough to be in a beautiful area, but unfortunately that means you most likely need your own transport.

* We are a seven day a week business, so it is important you can be flexible about the days you work. Whilst we work hard to help our teams find a balance some weekend working is inevitable.

* For housekeeping we think that a can-do attitude is more important than experience, so even though the advert says ‘experienced’, if you think you can stand out in the crowd and have what it takes then please do apply as well.
