Interim Hotel General Manager
Canterbury
Salary - Up to £40k Per Annum Pro Rata (c.3 month interim contract)

EMBS Property are looking for an experienced Deputy/Operations/General Manager to oversee our client's hotel in Canterbury on an interim contract.

As General Manager you will be involved in all aspects of site management, staff management, revenue, compliance, maintenance coordination and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

To manage the onsite team to ensure high standards of guest experience
Ensure the smooth running of the day to day hotel operations, working alongside other departments to balance all priorities
Financial management duties
Stakeholder relationship management
Reporting and administration duties
Ensure H&S compliance
Coordination of maintenance works and planned projects
Team training and development
The ideal candidate for this position:

Have managed teams in their current position, minimum of 12 months at Operations Manager/Deputy General Manager/ General Manager level in a hospitality or other relevant area of property management sector
Have good commercial knowledge and solid experience of Hotel operations including Front of House, Food & Beverage, Meetings and Events and Accommodation.
Be solution focused with high drive and a positive attitude
Have excellent communication skills
This is an interim contract so the ideal candidate will be immediately available or available with c.1 week’s notice.
